Scuba Diving In Cavo Greko, Cyprus
Cavo Greko is located between Ayia Napa and Protaras on the South East of Cyprus. With some of the most popular dive sites on the island due to clear, calm, warm water, a lack of dangerous currents and high tides. It has a variety of natural features such as caves, canyons and drop off’s which are safely accesible even on the occasional rough day.
The wide variety of marine life is another good reason to dive this area. You will come across sea bream, grouper, wrasse, red mullet, soldier fish, octopus, moray eels, sting rays, trigger fish, pipe fish, barracuda, fan worms, nudibranches and much more. You may also see ancient stone anchors and amphora dating back to 400 BC.
